Eastwood Town 2, Guiseley 2 - Guiseley lost their hold on a place in the top half of UniBond Division One when they let an early lead slip and had to rely on a last-minute equaliser to earn a point at Eastwood Town.
Two goals in three minutes for the home side overturned Guiseley's first-half advantage and threatened to leave them with nothing to show from a game they dominated for long periods.
Eastwood were looking to keep pace with the rest of the contenders for a place in the play offs, while Guiseley were aiming for a shock three points which would catapult them into the reckoning.
If they had not seen two efforts cleared off the line by desperate Eastwood defenders then they surely would have established their own credentials as a good bet for a place in the end-of-season battle for a Premier Division berth next term.
The visitors were playing up the pronounced slope at the Nottingham club's Coronation Park, but still managed to turn round a goal up.
It came in the 11th minute when Andy Shuttleworth headed home from mark Stuart's cross.
Guiseley's close encounters came within minutes of each other either side of the interval.
Just before the break, David Cooke rounded home keeper Danny Bryant, but his shot was headed off the line, and three minutes into the second half a Ryan Senior shot was hacked clear.
The goals that shifted the initiative came just before the hour.
David Davies got away inside the visitors' area and steered a low shot past John Lamb before Rocky White put Eastwood into the lead when he tucked in the loose ball after a Ritchie Butler shot had come back off the bar.
Guiseley earned their point when skipper Jamie Nettleton thundered a 25-yard effort into the top right-hand corner in the last minute.
Just into stoppage time they almost won it when Stuart fired a left-foot shot just wide.
Guiseley director Sturat Allen said: "We would have settled for a point before the game, but having gone so close we are disappointed.
"I thought we should have won it. They had two shots on goal and scored twice.
"I don't think they could have grumbled if we had taken all three points - their manager said afterwards that we had deserved more out of it."
