After promising so much early season in the Sunday Alliance League, Queensbury's recent run of poor Premier Division results continued at Crown where Andy Shuttleworth proved the difference.

The Crown midfielder hit two spectacular goals in five minutes in the first half and, despite Queensbury pulling a goal back, Crown's 2-1 win gave them valuable points in their bid to maintain Premier football next season.

Four goals in ten minutes before half-time wrapped up Oakenshaw's 6-1 win at Craven Heifer but, with Crown winning, Oakenshaw still stay in the bottom three.

Queen United's signing of former Eccleshill United Sunday players Stuart Waite and Ian Heppinstall has given the First Division title hopefuls another dimension. Waite scored four, including a hat-trick inside the first 30 minutes, and debutant Heppinstall got one in a 7-0 win at Pudsey Royal.

Wibsey WMC did Queens a favour when they beat leaders East Ward 2-1. The winner came from Mark Betts after veteran Gary Andrew had cancelled out East Ward's opener.

Hare & Hounds slipped into the bottom two after losing 2-1 to Ventus, but West Bowling consolidated their mid-table position with a 2-1 win at Dudley Hill Rangers.

Shoulder of Mutton's chance to extend their lead to five points in Division 1A evaporated at Undercliffe CC. Leading through Lee Grice after five minutes, Shoulder surrendered their lead to a Steve Miller effort before subs Alan Holdsworth and Carl Clifford clinched Undercliffe's 3-1 win. Holdsworth scored one and made the other for Clifford.

Clayton Orient's bid to avoid relegation has gathered momentum following Woodlands' visit, Chris Lockwood scoring three in a 5-1 win. Woodlands have now picked the ball out of the net 18 times in their last two games.

Stand-in keeper Daryl Wilkinson, the Move-It Removals' manager, saved a last minute penalty in his side's 1-0 win over Monkey.

After holding Wyke Wanderers to 2-2 at half-time, White Eagles fell away as Wyke joined the Division 1B promotion race following a 6-2 win. Craig Sheridan finished top scorer with three, while Eagles' Lee Womersley again impressed and grabbed the goal of the game.

Junction recorded their sixth draw in 12 games as Dudley Hill Rangers Reserves equalised late in a 4-4 draw.

Idle maintained the pressure on Division 2A leaders Heaton United with a fine 5-2 win at Bishop Rovers.

Chris Large opened the scoring for Idle with a looping header before Tony Shearer got the first of his two from the penalty spot. Man-of-the-match Chris Wilkin then fired in a third with a blistering 30-yard volley, Shearer struck his second with a spectacular overhead kick, and Darren Mitchell slotted in the fifth following a great run.

Crown Wyke recorded a 5-3 win over Bangladeshi Youth, Danny Lee scored four and Rob Castle added the fifth.

Eccleshill CC took three much needed points from a 5-2 win over Ring O'Bells. Danny Owczarek scored a couple, the others coming from Frank and Simon Hall and Mark Symmons .

Station's Division 2B game with Fagley ended all square at 3-3. Brothers Carl and Sean Firth were both on target and Cameron Kerrin added the third.

Coach & Horses strolled to a 9-2 Division 3A away win against Nab Wood Juniors. Aaron Haywood and Paul Hickey helped themselves to hat-tricks and Simon Fearnley struck twice.

The George suffered another defeat, this time by 5-2 at Harps International. Jason Conroy bagged a brace in between solo efforts from Chris Henney, Gareth Bennett and Mark Greenwood.

Fox & Pheasant took the Division Four points after a 5-2 home win over Crossley Hall, Andy Hagan (2), Nick Brooksbank, Luke Ellis and Craig Hayley scoring.
