COMMUNITY radio station Guiseley FM is to return to the airwaves for its third year - but producers are looking for new ideas.
The community radio station has broadcast for a month each summer to coincide with the Guiseley Festival since 2000.
Now the organisers are again rallying volunteers to help in this year's effort, whether on air, off air, or coming up with ideas for programmes.
The station is a voluntary, non-profit organisation, funded by grants, sponsorship and advertising.
Tony Tofrik, of Guiseley FM said: "Although the output of the station was quite remarkable for novices to broadcasting, everyone feels they have learned so much that they have tremendous enthusiasm to improve on last year.
"It's another great opportunity to celebrate the good things going on in our community and have some fun at the same time.
"Come along and see how you can get involved."
A brainstorming session is to take place at Guiseley Baptist Church, Oxford Road, on Tuesday January 29, along with some clips and feedback from last year's activities.
Mr Tofrik said one of last year's most notable developments was the production of home-grown soap opera The Grimshaws.
The show was written, produced, performed and recorded by local people, and the ten-minute episodes were broadcast on weekdays.
This year, the station hopes to go on air again from June 10 to July 7 to promote Guiseley Festival, and is seeking presenters, behind-the-scenes administrators, and other helpers.
