IN the Wharfedale Triangle League Premier Division Horsforth Fairweather notched a 5-2 win over visitors New Rover. On target for the Horsforth side were Simon Parker (2), Lee Monaghan, John Newsome and an own goal. Replying for New Rover were Gary Blaymires and Chris Allen.
Another Horsforth side among the goals was Horsforth Rangers who hammered FC Fox 9-2. Scorers were Phil Morton (4), Yann Raul (2), Marty Dabill, Don Kersley and Simon Wilson. On target for Fox were Peter Dixon and Matthew Fahy.
Ilkley Dynamo lost out 5-3 to Thackley Commercial with Lewis Dyson notching four goals for the winners. Andrew Midgley netted the other. Rawdon defeated Keighley Athletic 4-2 with strikes from Chris Thompson, Richard Machell, Stewart Clarke and an own goal. Alex Familio, who also plays for the Guiseley Youth team, and Stewart Nicholson replied.
Station Wanderers lost 3-0 to Park Rangers.
In Division One Crown Celtic had an 8-1 reverse at home to Shipley Town. Hawkhill defeated Wheatley 3-0 with goals from Dale Bailey, Phil Nicholson and Kevin Thompson.
Menston lost 2-1 at home to Commercial, Neil Grange and Mark Walker netting for the winners.
Milford went down 6-3 to Olicanian Academicals for whom Stuart Dibb netted a hat-trick for a second successive week and other goals came from Chris Connolly (2) and Paul Dawson. Stewart Parker, Mick Lloyd and an own goal produced Milford's three.
Otley Wharfeside lost 1-0 to visiting Yeadon Westfield for whom the scorer was Mark Chippendale.
