Football fan MP Gerry Sutcliffe has thrown his weight behind Bradford Park Avenue's fight to play at the new Odsal stadium.
Mr Sutcliffe, MP for Bradford South, will be holding meetings with Bradford Council, the Bulls and the stadium developers to try and win the UniBond club a place at the ground.
"Bradford Park Avenue playing at Odsal Stadium will be the ideal outcome for the club, the supporters and the whole city," said the MP, who had trials with the club as a youth.
"With its location so close to Bradford's current stadium at Horsfall, it would be an ideal base to launch a concerted effort to regain full League status.
"I believe that if all the parties involved can see the benefits of Bradford playing at Odsal then we can overcome any potential obstacles."
Chairman Frank Thornton feels the club havs been marginalised by the Bulls ground-share deal with Wakefield and welcomes the intervention of the MP.
"We welcome his support and hope it can make some difference," he said.
