ACTION in the Craven and District FA Cup competitions takes pride of place in tomorrow's soccer programme, with another derby clash between Skipton LMS and Skipton Bulldogs the focus of attention.
They meet in a quarter-final tie at Sandylands (1.30), with the winners taking on Kelbrook in the semis. Rimington and Carleton are already at that stage and they are drawn to meet at Rimington.
In the Skipton Building Society Morrison Cup, Sedbergh entertain Bentham (1.30) in Round One, while Pendle Athletic and Rolls-Royce meet in a Round One replay (1.30).
Winners of tomorrow's clashes meet at Sedbergh or Bentham in the semi-final, while Waddington entertain Grassington United in the other semi on March 16.
Tomorrow's programme in the SBS Norman Pratt Trophy second round sees Rimington Reserves at home to Ingleton Reserves, Embsay Reserves entertaining Kelbrook Reserves and Barnoldwick United Reserves having Dent Reserves as visitors, all at 1.30.
In tomorrow's depleted Craven League programme, Carleton take on Oxenhope Recreation in the Silentnight Premier Division with both teams badly needing maximum points, while relegation battles face the remaining clubs. Bottom club Cross Hills travel to Grassington, Skipton Town, also in need of points, entertain Bronte Wanderers, whilst Keighley Lifts, who are starting to pull away from trouble, will be hoping to keep their run going at the expense of Embsay.
Top match in Division One is at Colne Shepherds, where Lothersdale are the visitors. Both are out of the cup and both need maximum points to stay involved in the promotion race. Likewise Intake cannot afford to drop points against Bradley if they are to keep their hopes alive.
Barrowford United entertain Waddington in the top game in Division Two, with both sides looking for a win to close the gap on leaders Oxenhope Reserves. Horton are still in the promotion hunt and have a home match against Skipton Bulldogs Reserves, who are in the bottom reaches of the League, while Sutton look a good home banker against LMS Reserves.
Top entertains bottom in Division Three, where leaders McBrides take on Skipton Town Reserves. Carleton Reserves look to have an easy task in their visit to Cononley Reserves, whilst Cowling Reserves will be looking for maximum points in their cup semi-final rehearsal against Grassington United Reserves.
