Leeds striker Mark Viduka could face a Football Association misconduct charge after elbowing Arsenal defender Martin Keown in an off-the-ball incident during the 1-1 draw at Elland Road.
Keown feels video evidence should be used just as it was last season when the duo were embroiled in a bitter bust-up during a game at Highbury in May.
On that occasion Keown elbowed Viduka, again off the ball, and was later handed a one-match ban and fined £10,000 following a hearing involving the FA's video advisory panel.
The incident in today's 1-1 draw was the only point of controversy as the two teams were otherwise on their best behaviour in a fixture that has often proved fiery.
If the FA decide to come down hard on Viduka then the Australiancould be handed a three-match suspension to add to manager David O'Leary's problems.
Relating to the 26th-minute incident, Keown said: "I don't know what it was, but something struck me.
"Whether it was deliberate or not I do not know, but it is ironic that it is the same player, the same team that I got my punishment against last season.
"I am sure the people in authority will look at it. It will be seen on video, but I am not the type to complain."
Neither O'Leary nor Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger saw the moment of controversy during a game which was superbly refereed by Mark Halsey.
The Hertfordshire official was praised for his handling of the match by both managers, particularly as previous meetings between the two teams had resulted in a rash of yellow and red cards, as well as a series of other misconduct charges.
"I don't want to make any comment on that incident (involving Viduka and Keown) until I have seen it again," said O'Leary.
"I know at the time I gave the referee a bit of stick because I thought we were through with a chance and I couldn't understand why he had blown up.
"But the referee did well. It was a game which was refereed rightly, especially as there were a lot of people waiting to pounce."
