Bradford Bulls have returned from their six-day training camp in la Manga ready for the rigours of the new season.
Assistant coach Karl Harrison said: "We have worked the lads hard, and they have taken in a lot both physically and mentally.
"On the first day we worked on defence, on the second day offence, and for the rest of the week we have worked on sequences and set-pieces.
"Lesley Vainikolo and Brandon Costin have both fitted in really well, and the youngsters Jamie Langley, Aaron Smith and Vinnie Myler have worked hard and learnt a lot."
Added Harrison: "Our new strength and conditioning coach Martin Clawson talked to the squad for an hour in La Manga about what he expects of them, and it was riveting stuff.
"The lads will have today off - a couple of them have slight injuries but I am not prepared to say who - and we will talk about Wednesday's warm-up match at Castleford when we return tomorrow morning.
"We will be picking our squad for that tomorrow, and I would imagine the match will be split into four quarters as it will give us the chance to test out some of our exciting combinations. And it is only after this contest that we will be focusing on the World Club Challenge match against Newcastle Knights."
