Bradford's bid to be European Capital of Culture 2008 is hitting the road.
The district's culture campaign is to be promoted on the side of a truck, which will cover the length of Britain from north to south.
The quirky promotion is the brainchild of Michael Dennison, owner of haulier JW Wilson & Son in Lidget Green, who is determined to get the Bradford culture bid's wheels in motion up and down the country.
Michael wants the district's Capital of Culture campaign logo - based on Bradford artist David Hockney's photographic montage One Landscape, Many Views - to feature on the side of one of his trailers.
And Telegraph & Argus readers are being given the chance to come up with a slogan to go alongside it.
Back in 1997 Michael had the slogan The Spirit of Bradford proudly emblazoned across a 45-foot trailer, along with an 8ft Bradford Centenary logo, to mark the district's centenary celebrations.
Now he wants to do the same promotion for Bradford's Capital of Culture bid.
"We really need to promote Bradford as a city to be proud of. My trailers cover thousands of miles up and down the UK every week," said Michael.
"They go from the north of Scotland right down to Cornwall.
"What better way to promote Bradford and its bid than on the side of a truck?
"It's a sure-fire way of getting across a positive message about Bradford.
"We want the people of Bradford to think of what they would like to see on the side of our trailer, promoting Bradford as it bids to be a Capital of Culture. The area to advertise on is approximately 44-foot by 8-foot.
"People across the country ask us about Bradford and make comments - not all of them complimentary. Everyone knocks Bradford but this is a way of grabbing people's attention across the land and getting them talking about our bid. It will be like a moving billboard.
"When we launched the Spirit of Bradford trailer in 1997 it caused a lot of interest. We raised Bradford's profile then and I'm sure we can do the same this time."
So what slogan do you think would get across a positive message about Bradford?
Whoever comes up with the winning slogan will be treated to a free meal for two at a Bradford restaurant. And their slogan will be liveried across a trailer, and seen across Britain.
