Stars of the rugby world are preparing themselves for a very different kind of scrum.
Four players are opening their very own pub in Cleckheaton and will be tackling the customers themselves.
Bradford Bulls player Robbie Paul, pictured, has teamed up with brother, Henry, former Bulls prop Neil Harmon and retired professional Nigel Geary to form The Turnstile Pub Company Ltd.
The first outlet will open at the former George pub on Parkside and all are in training to work the tills and pumps.
Robbie said he would be one of the first to pull a pint for his fans.
"I've never done it before, but I'm looking forward to it!" he said. "Pulling a pint is giving a service and at the same time, it's an opportunity to talk to people.
"Each of us are spending time down there and it gives me something to do - it proves there is life outside rugby. I'm a physical, active person and I prefer doing something rather than sitting about.
"We are looking to learn a lot from it and hope to be able to improve things by bringing some of our experience to the industry."
The four have all ploughed cash into the company, with the backing of Tetleys brewery, and eventually hope to open branches across the country.
Neil said they had been scouting the district for a suitable property after talking the idea over with the Paul brothers and golfer Allan Shutt.
"Due to personal circumstances, Allan had to pull out, which is where Nigel stepped in," he said. "We were not just going to buy anything - this is a really good location as it's the heart of rugby league country. It's five minutes away from Bradford, but near Huddersfield, Halifax and Dewsbury.
"We hope to have a chain in the long-term. We'll open the first one, see how it goes, and if it's successful, open more."
The George pub, which includes a nightclub and function room, has already been refurbished and adorned with sports memorabilia. Bradford Bulls events and family entertainment are planned.
Robbie Paul will officially open The Turnstile on Parkside, Cleckheaton at 2pm on Saturday.
