Malcolm Stead likes nothing more than snaking around the Dales in his classic car.
The 61-year-old is the proud owner of a Ferrari-red replica AC Cobra, pictured, and spends evenings showing her off on country runs.
"She certainly turns a few heads. She's low, sleek and very menacing and everyone likes to have a good look," said the retired designer.
Mr Stead bought the car, with its beady-eye lights, from Robin Coleville - a member of the 1970s pop group the Grumbleweeds, in 1995.
But during the winter months he has to be content with revving the engine up in his Eldwick garage.
"I run her on a shoe-string and I would give up everything for my car," he said.
"Apart from my turquoise Beetle, Elvis and my wife Susan, she's the love of my life."
