West Bowling meet holders Thatto Heath in the second round of the GMB Union National Cup at Bankfoot tomorrow.
And if previous encounters are anything to go by, an incident-packed match looks to be on the cards.
Bowling played Thatto at their St Helens home at the same stage last season when extra time should have been played with the sides locked 24-24 at the final whistle.
The referee, however, got his sums drastically wrong and awarded the game to Bowling 26-24.
After the furore had subsided, the match was declared null and void and Thatto won the replay 14-11.
When the sides met at Bankfoot earlier this season, they could not be separated for a second time and produced another toe-tingling 18-18 draw.
Bowling coach Glenn Barraclough said: "We have never managed to beat Thatto, despite being in front twice until very late in the games.
"We aim to put that right on this occasion. While promotion from National Conference League Divi-sion One is our main aim, National Cup success would be a real bonus."
Full back Shaun Tordoff is out with a damaged shoulder, and former Yorkshire No 1 Simon Owen takes over, moving out of the pack.
Loose forward Nigel Halmshaw has recovered from a back injury and utility back Shaun Fallon keeps his berth in the squad following his sparkling performance against Eccles.
The luck of the draw has again gone against Dudley Hill, and they are at Hull side Bilton Sulleys.
Hill coach Chris Robinson is still awaiting reports on a couple of players - Craig Robinson (thigh strain) and Jimmy Haley ('dead leg'), but both will hopefully be fit.
Top match in the Pennine Premier Division is at Hill Top, where Queensbury meet neighbours Clayton. Joint leaders Queensbury are looking at this game as a banker against the bottom club, but form quickly goes out of the window when these great rivals meet.
'Bury have centre Gareth Hobson (cut mouth) and prop Craig Richards (twisted knee) back in action and forward Matt Galtress came through last week's win against Lindley with flying colours after a long lay-off.
Clayton have emerged from a difficult spell and will be seeking to avenge their 26-8 home defeat on the first day of the season. They welcome back speedy duo Michael Benson and Jeremy Robertshaw.
