Even another half-century by record-breaking Arran Thompson wasn't enough to save sorry England from a whitewash defeat in India.
England's women fell to a 5-0 series loss in their final one-day international against India in Pune, losing the final match by six wickets.
Thompson, based in Barn-oldswick, top scored with 65 - her second 50 in a row - but England only reached 180 for six.
India reached their target with only 3.2 overs remaining to complete the comprehensive victory.
In the one-off test earlier in the tour, Thompson shared an opening wicket stand of 200 with Sussex opener Caroline Atkins, smashing a ten-year record.
England captain Clare Connor said: "The 5-0 result is fair, but a massive disappointment.
"As a squad we've made some great strides, especially with the opening record-breaking partnership of Caroline and Arran, which has just got stronger and stronger during the tour.
"The spirit in the squad is sensational, even with results not going our way - it's the best I've ever known it, which says a lot about the strength of character and determination of all 14 players."
