There's a long tradition of silly-sounding orchestras in the UK - Dr Crock and his Crackpots, Stan Seymour and his Mad Hatters, Harry Heinz and his Foul Harmonic Orchestra.
Now Keighley Amateurs hopes to get in on the act with the help of children in its panto audience.
A handful of youngsters will be invited on to the stage at each performance to form an impromptu orchestra.
They'll play instruments such as a kazoo, raspberry, gong, cuckoo warbler and a "mystery instrument" made from paper.
Peter Whitley and Anthony Waddington, who play Simple Simon and Granny Hood, will help the kids create their crazy cacophony.
The silly symphony is set to be a highlight of Red Riding Hood when it is performed from tomorrow to next Saturday at Victoria Hall.
Performances are at 7.15pm on both Saturdays and Tuesday-Friday, and 2.15pm on Sunday and both Saturdays.
Book at Keighley Information Centre in the town hall, or phone 01535 662681.
