Craig Morris scored the goal that earned Long Lee Under-13s victory in a close encounter with Menston. The 1-0 win puts Long Lee clear at the top. Matthew Kelly was outstanding at the back and Callum Flaherty was named man of the match.
Long Lee Under-11s lost a see-saw game against Oakworth 4-2 on a rain-soaked pitch. Goals came from Josh and Connor Flaherty, with the result leaving Long Lee fourth in the table while Oakworth move up to seventh.
Long Lee Under-8s played some of their best football of their season in difficult conditions to ease to a 6-0 victory in their top of the table clash with Menston. They kept their 100 per cent record alive with some superb inter-linking play. Goals came from man of the match Tom Marshall (4), Luke Narey and Liam Dickerson, while Owen Palmer pulled off a couple of superb saves to keep another clean sheet.
Oakworth Under-12s secured a 3-1 victory in their bruising encounter with Queensbury. They were 1-0 down at the break, but two goals from Adam Spencer, one a delightful lob, were followed by a spectacular free kick from Dale Hawker. Glen Wallbank was man of the match and along with Tom Clark and Richard McCullough was masterful in defence.
Oakworth Under-11s beat Long Lee 4-2 thanks a good team performance. Goals were scored by Nick Sperduto, Joe Morfitt, Daniel O'Neill and Matthew Stewart.
