ONLY one game survived the weather, with Three Horses playing hosts to Bocking in a tightly fought match.
The home side came out on top with a narrow 3-2 victory, with Jamie Rowell scoring twice and Andy Godden also on target.
Although the league has only reached the halfway stage, officials are already planning for next season. Their main objective is to encourage junior teams to stay together and move up to open age level.
"There will be quite a lot of teams who become too old to continue in the junior leagues, and we want to help them to carry on their friendships. It would benefit the teams themselves and also increase both the quantity and quality of teams in the Alliance," said secretary Allan Feather.
New Inn-Oaklea, who joined the league this season, came through the junior ranks together before moving up to the Open Age section.
Youth team managers who are interesting in joining the Alliance can get details from Mr Feather on 01535-274376.
