A pair of well-established Bradford firms are celebrating after being crowned the 'best in the district'.
Ali Baba Carpets and Kashmir Crown Bakeries have both won Consumer Choice Awards after coming top in their fields in a survey of local households.
Kashmir, which was set up 35 years ago and has a £6m annual turnover, plans to use its new status to powerful effect as a marketing tool.
Managing partner, Asif Saleem, said: "We are one of the oldest local bakeries and we are delighted to have won this award.
"I think we have earned it simply by continuing to produce a wide range of quality products at a good price. It's about looking after our customers, and we'll be using the award logo on our stationery and invoices to keep our customers informed about the win."
Kashmir employs a 110-strong workforce at its Lister Hills base, where it produces more than 100 different products.
Ali Baba, which has two stores in Great Horton and one in Leeds Road, was set up in 1971 and employs ten people.
Partner and managing director Iqbal Farooqi said: "We are very pleased to have been awarded this and it can only boost business."
The independent market research, which questioned more than 400 households, was commissioned by the Little Germany based Consumer Choice Company (UK) Ltd.
Managing director Uzi Sharon said: "It is very reassuring to see that well established companies are still managing to come up with the quality to really impress customers."
