Apart from a few positional changes the Cougars are going into tonight's testimonial game with all guns blazing.
The visit of Leeds Rhinos, for Jason Ramshaw's testimonial, will give the players an opportunity to give something back to the fans after Sunday's cup drubbing.
The 24-0 defeat at the hands of St Gaudens was seen as a huge step backwards by boss Gary Moorby, who will be keen to see an improvement tonight.
"We will be trying out a few positional changes," said the boss who is still searching for his first win.
"A few fringe players may also get a chance, but this is not a training situation. We owe it to ourselves and the fans to put in a better performance. We have a re-scheduled game against Gateshead a week on Sunday and we will be looking to kickstart our season again."
Jason Ramshaw, still suffering from a shoulder injury, will be putting in an appearance tonight.
"We are hoping for a big crowd to see Super League opposition," said the 32-year-old hooker.
"It should be a good atmosphere and we are taking this very seriously."
