Police in Bradford have arrested a man in connection with the killing of have-a-go hero Kevin Jackson, above.
Officers raided an address in the city last night and arrested 19-year-old Rangzaib Akhtar of Manningham and two women, aged 19 and 21.
The trio were taken to Halifax police station for questioning in connection with the killing of father-of-two on December 30.
Mr Jackson died in hospital three days after being beaten and repeatedly stabbed in the head with a screwdriver as he tried to stop the theft of his father-in-law's Toyota Rav 4 in Halifax.
The arrests follow an appeal by the police for public help in tracing Mr Akhtar and another Manningham man, 20-year-old Raees Khan.
A police spokesman said: "Mr Khan is still wanted for questioning in connection with the murder."
