Bradford City's club secretary has been suspended on full pay pending the outcome of a police investigation into allegations of indecency involving the youth team.
Jon Pollard was suspended after West Yorkshire Police were asked by the club to investigate allegations of inappropriate behaviour at its youth hostel at Long Barn in Scholemoor, Bradford.
A statement released by the club last night confirmed Mr Pollard, who has been secretary for four years, had been suspended.
It said: "We understand that the police have conducted a series of interviews and, at the present time, have not found any evidence of any criminal behaviour.
"The police investigation is continuing and the club will be issuing no further statements until after the conclusions of the police inquiries."
Mr Pollard, who is in his forties, is married and his wife and children live in Norwich. He was formerly assistant secretary at Swindon Town and lives at Long Barn.
It is understood he was suspended following a reserve team game last Thursday against Middlesbrough at Billingham.
Inspector Dave Scholey, of West Yorkshire Police, said: "The police can confirm they have investigated allegations of indecency but no offences have been disclosed."
