Silsden B won 4-0 away to Queensbury B. Playing in difficult conditions and against a bigger side, Silsden adapted well to the pitch. Goals from Andy Kay (2), Ben Stead and a penalty from stand-in keeper Andy Cairns secured the points. The match award went to the whole side.
Silsden C won 5-2 away to Oakworth C. Joint man of the match Nick Crook scored a well earned hat-trick on a sticky pitch. Tom Cunningham shared the award and scored from 20 yards. Josh Banks also scored, with the front men well supported by the rest of the team.
Silsden Under-9s A were beaten 3-1 at Gomersal in very muddy conditions which proved to be very heavy work. Silsden's goal was scored by Callum Harrison, who shared the man of the match award with William Rook.
Silsden Under-9s B were beaten 3-0 away at Heaton. Jack Price was man of the match.
Silsden Under-7s A beat Oakworth A 6-2 with goals from Josh McNulty (3), Chris Wademan (2) and Oliver Peacock. Danielle Whitham and Josh McNulty shared the man of the match award.
Silsden Under-7Bs were at home to Bolton Woods, who took a 1-0 lead before an own goal left the teams level at 1-1. James Wilson scored a hat-trick to give Silsden a 4-1 victory. Christopher Gill and Mark Smith were named men of the match.
Oakworth Under-12s beat Wilsden 7-2. After conceding an early goal Oaks replied through Adam Spencer following an excellent pass from Ben Smith. Spencer scored three more after the break and missed a penalty before two fine efforts from Andrew Fox and a goal straight from a corner by Dale Hawker secured the win. Winger Paul Owens was man of the match.
Long Lee Under-8s A overcame a spirited Bingley 4-2 to extend their 100 per cent record. On a very small pitch Long Lee found it hard to produce their usual passing game and had to battle hard. Early in the second half Bingley held a 2-1 lead, but Long Lee dug deep to run out winners with goals from Tom Marshall (2), Nathan Riley and Luke Narey.
Long Lee Under-8s B also kept up their 100 per cent record with a 2-1 win at Bingley. They came back from a goal down with strikes from Joshua Lorriman and Owen Palmer. James Rhodes was outstanding in midfield.
Long Lee Under-8s reached the semi-final of the Bradford Cup with a 5-1 victory over Eldwick, who had not been beaten for three months. Although Long Lee could not get their passing game working they showed that they can adapt to all conditions. Goals came from Tom Marshall (3), Nathan Riley and man of the match Luke Narey.
Long Lee Under-10s A found themselves 2-0 up at Bingley with early goals from Myrosh Allen and James Francis. Bingley re-grouped and were soon back on level terms, and with a 2-2 half time scoreline the game was anybody's. Allen and Francis both went close in the last few minutes but couldn't break the deadlock. James Francis was man of the match.
League leaders Long Lee Under-10s B came back after a long layoff and were soon in business with Matthew Pearson opening the scoring and adding a thunderous shot. Bingley worked hard and were rewarded with a consolation goal as Long Lee's midfield men Jimmy Marshall and Matthew Pearson shared the man of the match award in the 2-1 victory.
Long Lee Under-11s were made to work hard to overcome Prospect in the Craven Cup. The Keighley side found themselveds 2-0 down until goals from Sam Rooke (2), Aaron Stack and a James Bailey hat-trtick helped them through. Joe Park had a fine game in defence.
Long Lee Under-13s carried their impressive league form into the group stage of the league cup and made it two wins out of two with an emphatic 6-0 scoreline over Silsden. Goals were scored by Craig Morris (3), Calum Flaherty, Lee Rickaby and a Liam Walsh penalty. Matthew Kelly and Gary Earle were outstanding in central defence, while Flaherty just edged the man of the match award.
Oakworth Under-10s A continued last year's excellent form with victory over Otley A. They were 3-0 up at the break with two goals from Kane Scott and one from Alex Thomas. Scott completed his hat-trick after the break and Brannon Laws added the fifth. Man of the match Ben Keighley was the driving force in midfield.
Oakworth Under-10s B also continued their winning run by beating Otley B 4-0. A first half goal from new boy Joe Ettenfield gave Oaks the lead, and in the second half Lloyd Evans scored twice, Ettenfield adding his second to seal victory. Joe Holland was man of the match.
Oakworth Under-10s C lost 5-2 to Silsden C. Goalkeeper Chris Faz kept Silsden down to two goals in the opening period with Joshua Hastings scoring for Oaks. After the break Silsden started to dominate, scoring three more with Hastings adding another for Oakworth. Thomas Collins was Oakworth's man of the match.
Oakworth Under-7s A went down 6-2 at Silsden. Ryan Cox equalised after they went behind to an early goal, but Silsden secured a 3-1 half time lead. The Cobbydale side added three more goals in the second half, with Daniel Meegan scoring from long range for the Oaks after missing a penalty. Ryan Cox was Oakworth's man of the match.
Oakbank Under-9s A entertained Nab Wood with some entertaining, attacking football, running out 7-1 victors. Joe Gaughan led the rout with four, backed up by one each from 'Captain Marvel' Nico Earwaker, Nathan Lomax and a thunderbolt from the tireless Josh Stubbs. The man of the match award was shared by Joe Gaughan and Josh Stubbs, although Jordan Nurse, Liam Almond and Ryan Stubbs were all outstanding.
Oakbank Under-9s B team took on a very strong Burley side and can take a lot of heart from their 3-1 defeat. The Oakbank goal was scored by Christian Hoggs after Charlotte Mitchell was upended on the half way line, the referee played advantage and Hogg made them pay in the best way possible, coolly tucking the ball past the advancing keeper.
Charlotte Mitchell & Christian Hogg shared the player of the match award.
