JAMIE BUTLER blasted home a wonder goal as Midland stamped their authority on the league.
His 30-yard strike was the pick of the top of the table battle with second placed Bocking which showed just how dominant the Midland side is. Although they were only 3-1 up at the break they launched a second half blitz and piled on the agony as their extra fitness took its toll.
They stretched the lead to 4-2 and scored a further four goals in the last 20 minutes while Bocking could only add one. The win gave Midland what looks like an unassailable lead at the top of the Premier Division.
Other Midland scorers were Andy Nelson (3), Nino Ferrara (3) and Mark Whitaker.
New Inn scored the only goal of the first half when they clashed with Silsden Athletic. Mick Kilroy was the New Inn marksman, but Athletic bounced back with the only goal of the second period to take a share of the points.
Wilsden Village gained their second win of the season with victory over Shoulder of Mutton. Shoulder opened the scoring directly from the kick off, but it didn't take Wilsden long to equalise.
In a see-saw game Shoulder hit back with two well taken goals before Wilsden made it 3-2 at the break with a goal from the penalty spot. In the second half they claimed two goals to secure a 4-3 win.
