n Steeton Male Voice Choir is anticipating a sell-out when it performs in concert at Holy Trinity Church, Cowling on April 13.
The choir is also performing a charity concert at Keighley Shared Church on April 27 with all proceeds going to the church's roof restoration fund.
Following the success of last year's charity sing in Skipton, held for local farmers who had been hit by the foot and mouth crisis, the choir is to hold a similar event in support of the local Parkinson's Disease Society.
The event will be staged at Haworth Parish Church, on August 31, between 1 and 5 pm.
The choir will also be travelling to Chester over the spring bank holiday weekend and will be performing with the equally well-regarded Trelawnyd Male Choir. The joint performance will take place in the country's smallest cathedral at St Asaph.

n Top local band Something for the Weekend will be playing Sixties to Nineties covers tomorrow night at Sunnybank Social Club, in Silsden.

The "spring serenade" will feature soprano Joan Kay, mezzo-soprano Hazel Croft, tenor Melvin White and baritone Alan Stirk.
