A man appeared in Court today charged with attempting to murder a woman in Keighley. Fojlu Ali Miah, of no fixed address, appeared before Bingley Magistrates in connection with the incident in South Street at Keighley on Tuesday, April 2.
Miah, 28, appeared in the dock wearing handcuffs. He looked on impassively as the charge of attempted murder was read out to him. He was not required to make a plea. Miah, who was represented by Keith Blackwell, made no application for bail. He was remanded in custody and will appear before Bradford Crown Court on Friday, April 12.
