Oakenshaw are through to the finals of the District Sunday Cup.
A goal in extra time shattered East Bowling Unity who had been reduced to ten men early on in the game.
Unity's dream of repeating their famous cup treble of 2002-2001 season were shattered at Eccleshill United on as old foes Oakenshaw edged the match 4-3.
In front from an early Dean Worrall goal, Oakenshaw fell 2-1 behind 20 minutes into the game when Peter Craven threaded a free kick through a packed wall.
But Unity were rocked by the sending off of leading scorer Gary Shaw in the 40th minute. Oakenshaw scrambled an equaliser in a crowded goal mouth.
Defender Nigel Danby looked to have won it for Unity with the first goal of extra time but Oakenshaw's Dean Worrall levelled.
And with Unity starting to look second best, Oakenshaw got their deserved winner to reach the final of a competition they have won more than any other team.
The one scrap of fortune for Unity was the result of the Fairweather Green and Bolton Woods game. The 2-2 draw from the second and third placed sides in the Premier means Unity can now afford to lose a game and still clinch the league title.
This weekend Unity meet Gildersome Taverners in their third semi-final in eight days.
