A Bradford boy pushed a girl to safety as a lorry mounted a pavement in Bulter Street, after a crash with a motor-cycle.
She stumbled through a shop window. The boy lived in Ripon Street, Otley Road, and the girl was his 15-year-old cousin of Boldshay Street, Barkerend Road. Both were treated at the Bradford Royal Infirmary. Another 15-year-old of Bunker's Hill, Barkerend Road, was also treated for bruises and shock. The lorry driver was a 45-year- old pig dealer of Hillside Villas, Bradford.
