Detectives were today questioning a man in connection with the killing of Pudsey car dealer Philip Smith.

Officers confirmed they had arrested a 46-year-old man from Elland yesterday and were quizzing him about Mr Smith's murder.

Mr Smith, 29, was found lying face down next to his Audi A4 car in an isolated lay-by in Tong Lane, Bradford, on February 20. He had been shot twice in the head from close range.

Officers today renewed their appeal for information, saying people could call the murder incident room on (01274) 373133 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. A 33-year-old man from the Great Horton area was arrested last month in connection with the murder. He has been released on bail while police inquiries continue.
