Bradford pop sensation Gareth Gates has been handed a prestigious new role as an ambassador for the Prince's Trust.
Gareth will tonight join the nine other finalists from Pop Idol for a concert to help raise more than £250,000 for the Prince of Wales's charity.
The East Bowling teenager has been picked, along with fellow stars from the hit ITV programme, Will Young and Darius Danesh, as ambassadors for the Prince's Trust.
Tickets for tonight's sell-out concert, at London's Docklands Arena, have changed hands for between £25 and £150.
The Prince had been due to attend, but has pulled out after the death of his grandmother, the Queen Mother.
