Nicky Law watched the second half of City's win at Wimbledon from the stand after being sent off by referee Rob Styles.

The Bantams boss was banished from the dug-out after arguing with the Hampshire official at the half-time whistle.

The incident is sure to be included in the referee's report and Law must wait to see whether the Football Association decide to take any action.

Law has been highly critical of the standard of refereeing this season and was angry with the late penalty award that took some of the gloss off City's 2-1 triumph at Selhurst Park.

Wayne Jacobs was penalised for allegedly pulling David Connolly but Law said: "If that was a penalty then there were four or five more cases for both teams.

"You can count on one thing every week and that is that you can't guarantee the same standard from officials. The rules are different with every game.

"Lewis Emanuel got a forearm smash in the face and the ref gestured to everybody in the ground to show he had given the foul for their player leading with his elbow. And yet he doesn't even talk to him - one week it's a sending off, the next it isn't.

"But this situation is happening all the time and I feel that strongly that we must sort it out."

But Law was delighted with the attitude of his players who fully deserved their fifth away win of the season, a result that ensures First Division football will again be played at Valley Parade next season.

City go into Saturday's final home game against promotion-chasing West Brom without any pressure on them and top scorer Eoin Jess warned: "We can go out there and give it a real go. "It will be a massive game for West Brom but we want to go out with a few wins and we'll give it everything for our fans."
