Skipper Robbie Paul says the Bulls have to find a way to stop beating themselves.
They lost their 100 per cent record for the season by going down 15-14 at London Broncos on Sunday.
Paul, pictured, said: "London played very well. They are a very good team, but we seemed to beat ourselves more than be beaten by the opposition."
London's first try came from a kick to the corner that wasn't dealt with, and the second from a Paul Deacon pass that was intercepted
"Their tries came from our mistakes," said the skipper of the Super League and World Club champions.
He then hinted that their adventurousness might sometimes count against them.
"A team like ours has the ability to run the ball a lot," said the New Zealand international.
"There are more opportunities for us to drop the ball, and we played ourselves into a little bit of a hole." He added: "There is a lot of stuff for us to get back to the drawing board and work on. These situations have generally been good for us to look at where we need to grow as a team, and we can take positives from this."
However, Paul continued: "All the boys are very disappointed because we didn't keep our unbeaten run going a while longer.
"But it isn't the sort of competition where you are going to go through the season unbeaten or anything.
"Rugby league doesn't work that way, and the Super League is just too tough.
"On any given day any team can perform, and I take my hat off to London.
"We got into the zone playing as we normally do, but it was a little bit too late.
"We knew it was going to be an 80-minute match and I am sure the crowd were entertained."
"This is always a tough game for us - I was looking through the scores, and it has always been close, especially away from home.
"They are a decent squad, and what they do they do well. They kick the ball early, keep the ball down there and play percentage rugby.
"They stuck to their guns and they played with very good spirit.
"Their forwards got forward very well in the first half and their halves turned us around well with a long kicking game into a wind, but the opportunities we had we didn't take advantage of."
