Chris Scott scored a superb hat-trick to keep West Bowling A in the Rugby League Pennine League Division One promotion chase.
Bowling recorded an excellent 42-20 win over Criggle-stone All Blacks in their final match at Lidget Green.
Hooker Shah Basha got the ball rolling with two early tries, and Scott showed the visitors a clean pair of heels with an 80-metre interception for his first try. He followed that with a jinking 20-metre special for his second.
Bowling had the game in the bag when they turned round 28-4 up.
Scott completed his hat-trick on the restart, and Steve Pryce, Paul Hutchinson and Craig Hillam joined him on the scoreboard.
Victoria Rangers made sure of a Division One berth next season with a 38-8 win at home to Guiseley Rangers. The Vics' tries came from loose forward Kenny Smith (2), winger Keiran McDermott (2), full back Russ Sigston and props Paul Marks and Chris Gardner. Phil Hellewell kicked five goals.
West Bowling now need just one point from their final three games to take the National Conference League Division One championship following their sparkling 20-12 win at Thatto Heath. Winger Lee Innes was bang on target with two early penalties. Substitute forward Simon Owen was quick to spot a gap to burrow his way over from acting half-back just a minute before half-time.
Innes made no mistake with a penalty on the restart, but the St Helens outfit hit back with a converted try from scrum half Barry Ashall.
Innes added a further two penalties, but Bowling were reduced to ten men when full back Peter Simpson was sent off for tripping. Thatto made full use of their superior numbers to add another converted try.
Martin Tordoff finally put the game out of Thatto's reach when, in the dying minutes, he stole the ball in a one-to-one tackle and quickly passed to player-coach Glenn Barra-clough, who crossed in style. Innes had the final say with the conversion for what was another splendid Bowling victory.
Dudley Hill took two valuable points in a crucial battle to avoid the drop to National Conference League Division Two at home to Askam.
Hill won the game 44-4 with a fine all round performance.
Try-scorers were Sean Dick-inson (2), Neil Shoesmith, Jason Wood, Alex Dickinson, Richard Bingley, Craig Tynan and Lewis Evans.
