Link Telecom has made major inroads into the regional vehicle main dealerships market sector as a leading provider of state-of-the-art communications equipment and systems.
The Keighley-based company has now completed 15 installations at top dealerships across Yorkshire, the latest at Walter C Brigg's new £1.5million flagship Vauxhall headquarters at Cross Hills.
Link Telecom has installed a purpose-designed system that equips Walter C Brigg with the latest voice and data transmission capabilities on both its telephone and computer networks, as well as commissioning the company's PA system.
Link Telecom director Julian Barnes said: "The main benefit is that the company can have both voice and data outlets, linked by a sophisticated cabling system, positioned throughout the whole of the building, making it very simple to move phone or computer extensions to any location where they are required. The system maximises both ease and speed of communication."
Richard Brigg, joint managing director of Walter C Brigg and grandson of the founder said: "Effective communications, both internally and externally, are obviously very important to us and the new system is proving extremely efficient in enhancing our entire operation, particularly when dealing with customers over the phone and in improving our computer links with Vauxhall headquarters.
"Our staff have also found the system easy to use."
Mr Barnes added: "Within the past year, Link Telecom has experienced a marked growth in demand for voice and data systems and technology from main dealer car franchises across the county, much of it based on referrals."
