A MAN has been arrested in connection with the armed robbery at Skipton's Morrison's supermarket in which more than £250,000 was stolen.
He was arrested on Tuesday of this week and interviewed. No charges were brought and the man was released on police bail pending further inquiries.
A police spokesman said inquiries were still continuing and the police still wish to speak to anyone who was in the store.
The Herald understands that the arrest took place in the Midlands.
The robbery took place near closing time on March 22 when a man made his way into the cash office and held a gun to the head of an employee.
