Cougars chairman Neil Spencer is hoping talks this week with representatives of the Keighley Indepen-dent Supporters Associa-tion (KISA) will bring about a better relationship between the two parties.
There have been disputes over club merchandising and lotteries, but Spencer reported: "We had very amicable talks and I am hopeful we can put all our problems behind us. We formed an understanding that we can work together, providing they don't step on anyone's toes.
"We are running an Under-19 Academy side from May to September and we have offered them the chance to support the running of the team, helping get in local players. They are very pleased with that. Hopefully next year we will be able to run an Under-17 side as well."
