Oxenhope took a step nearer retaining the Devonshire Carpets Premier Cup with a narrow victory over Keighley Lifts in a hard fought semi-final. A strong wind on a hard pitch made ball control difficult and both sides found it hard to create clear-cut chances.

It began to look as though the points would be shared until the closing minutes when Stuart Nicholson made a great run out of defence and slotted the ball home to keep Bronte's title hopes alive.
