The contractor building Bingley's three-mile relief road is digging deep to help a children's charity.
Amec is supporting the Kidz Klub project until the £47.9m road is completed in autumn 2003.
And to mark the launch of the charity, a group of pupils at Beckfoot School were given Easter goodies by Carley Scott, Amec's liaison manager.
"We were approached by various charities and after careful consideration we chose Kidz Klub because it covers the whole of the Bingley area and we feel it's a worthwhile cause," said Mrs Scott.
Kidz Klub spokesman Alison Tempest said she was delighted Amec had got on board.
She said: "We are looking for a permanent base and would be grateful if anyone who has an empty warehouse or spare basement to come forward."
Amec workers have also promised to revamp and give materials for the charity's new centre when a suitable location is found.
Anyone who knows of an empty building which could be a new home for the charity should telephone Alison Tempest on (01274) 561595.
