Farsley Celtic 0, Rossendale United 1: Farsley Celtic seem intent on taking their relegation fight to the wire after another faltering performance - this time at home to Rossendale.
The Lancastrians edged this tight roses clash but Celtic deserved something from the match.
Yet they stumble on for another week not knowing if their future lies in UniBond Division One.
Manager Martin Haresign was hoping for a home win that would have ensured they could not get dragged back into the drop zone.
It would also have been a boost to flagging spirits ahead of Wednesday's West Riding County Cup final.
"To be honest none of the lads have mentioned that yet, they have all been preoccupied by this battle to stay safe," said the subdued boss, whose team face two relegation six-pointers in their run-in.
"It was disappointing to lose this one because I thought they battered us in the first half but we were still in it at 0-0 at half-time. We turned in a much better performance in the second half but got nothing from it.
"There were some good balls delivered into the areas but neither keeper had any real saves to make. It was a bit of a nothing game, more like a mid-table end of season run out.
"We can't afford games like that. We have to get points on the board, just that one win would be enough. But we can't seem to lift ourselves to get it."
Haresign saw one of his men limping out of the game before it even got started. Danny Spence aggravated an ankle injury during the warm-up and had to be removed from the team-sheet.
Rossendale scored their goal after hesitancy in the home defence. Substitute Gareth Gardiner snatched possession on the edge of the area and he beat Farsley keeper Liam Sutcliffe with a powerful angled drive.
Hepworth was sacrificed to allow Gary Shaw to come on and form a three-pronged attack with Michael Midwood and Chris Newton, but with time running out for Celtic Lee Connor headed over from a Shaw cross.
