A pensioner claims police took more than two hours to respond to his 999 call after he was mugged in his home.
Sam Stott, 68, of Orchid Close, Shipley, said he waited in a state of panic after the robber grabbed more than £300 from his pocket and fled. "It was two hours 20 minutes before a police officer arrived."
A Keighley police spokeswoman said that when they got the call, it was established that the victim was not physically injured and the offender had left the scene.
"Units were despatched from Keighley division within six minutes but they were diverted to further incidents."
