Eoin Jess aims to inject some fizz into City's finish to the season.
The Scottish hitman takes over from the injured Ashley Ward up front as the Bantams sign off at Walsall tomorrow- scene of their dismal FA Cup exit in January.
Jess, like his team-mates, has bitter memories of that night. And the 14-goal leading scorer has an extra incentive to put the record straight tomorrow - by earning himself a bottle of champagne.
Jess said: "That cup game was probably the one that sticks out more than anything, we couldn't string two passes together.
"It was very disappointing and just about sums up what this season has been about. None of us performed.
"At least we've now got the chance to go back there and play much better. It would be nice after all that has happened if we can finish on a high and get a good result."
Jess is pretty happy with his own goal tally but will be itching to get on the scoresheet one more time.
"I've been promised a bottle of champagne from my friends if I get to 15. So I'll definitely be volunteering to take the penalties! Let's hope we get one in the last minute at 0-0.
"This is the first time I've scored that many for quite a while so I have to be delighted with that. I've been moving back and forth between midfield and attack lately and it's just a matter of adapting to the different position.
"The manager knows I'm no natural left-sided player so I do prefer it up front. I started my career there and enjoy the chance to drop off into midfield and link the play up.
"It's a matter of trying to do a professional job for the team wherever I'm put, whether that means getting goals or creating them for others."
If City avoid defeat, they will stretch their unbeaten away run to five on the bounce - their best run in one season for ten years.
Boss Nicky Law said: "There's not much at stake other than personal pride but we want to finish the season on a winning note.
"There might be a bit of a party atmosphere but we'll go out there with the frame of mind we do every week.
"When I first took over we went there and were atrocious. It could have been six or seven so we've got a score to settle.
"I looked at some of it that night and thought "blimey, I see why I'm here". But the lads have improved dramatically."
