Pupils have seen a new, exciting side to their dinner lady Julie Magson.
When she found out the children were learning about the ancient Egyptians in class, she offered to help bring it to life - by putting on a belly dancing demonstration.
By day Mrs Magson, 50, from Deanstones Lane, Queensbury, is a lunchtime supervisor at Russell Hall Primary School.
But Wednesday evenings see her putting aside her pinny and taking out her Eastern dress.
Then she likes to have a bit of a wiggle at an evening class at Bradford College run by Wendy Marshall.
''I always like to do an evening class,'' she said.
''For years I thought I wouldn't dare try the belly dancing.
''But I gave it a go and I wish I'd done it years ago, it's so much fun.
"We are all shapes and sizes but we are like spirits.''
Children were thrilled with the show and have since been asking Mrs Magson to demonstrate 'hip-drops' - one of her many belly dancing moves - in the playground.
''The dancing is lovely,'' said nine-year-old school pupil Zoe Hargrave.
''It's slow and gentle with a good rhythm.''
Head teacher Michael Ford said: ''We have some very talented staff here.
''It's wonderful they are willing to share their interests with the children like this.''
''The enthusiasm from the children was lovely,'' said Julie.
''They all joined in - including the boys!
