Detectives hunting the killers of Keighley security guard Qadir Ahmed believe one of their suspects may have fled Britain and gone to Pakistan.
The Telegraph & Argus reported on Friday how Keighley officers had alerted ports and airports about two suspects, fearing they may try to leave the country.
But Detective Superintendent Phil Sedgwick, who is leading the inquiry, said it was believed one of the men may already have gone to Pakistan.
He said: "There's a suspicion that one of the suspects may have already fled to Pakistan and we are investigating. We've got links with the police in Pakistan - we're in contact with them about a number of cases and we'll be in touch with them about this.''
And he pledged: "Inquiries are continuing and we will get them eventually."
