Soccer will be coming to Cougar Park next season, after Unibond outfit Guiseley agreed a switch of grounds.
The deal will provide much- needed cash for the Cougars in the long off-season and provide the football-mad people of Keighley with a team to support.
Delighted Cougars chairman Neil Spencer said: "By ensuring the facilities are used all-year round, money can hopefully be made available on the playing side of things.
"Hopefully at some point there will be some kind of merger of the two clubs to create a strong Keighley sporting side."
The news came as the Cougars were defeated 40-26 by Featherstone Rovers last night in the Buddies National league Cup - their fifth defeat on the bounce.
The Cougars rushed to a 14-0 lead with Karl Smith and Craig Horne going over early on.
But nave penalties and a Max Tomlinson dropped catch let in Danny Seal and then Ricky Helliwell to bring the visitors back into it.
Skipper James Rushforth running into Firth then handed Micky Rooney the first of his three tries.
A Jamie Stokes kick put in Rooney for his second and Nathan Graham went in to give Featherstone a 24-14 lead.
An obvious forward pass put in Graham for a second in the 55th minute, effectively handing the game to the away side.
Steve Dooler's try was negated when Firth chased down his own kick, but Rooney's third opened up the gap once more.
In the last minute, Rushforth combined with Simeon Hoyle to score the try of the day.
