An open day held at Bracken Ghyll Golf Club, Addingham, was a great success, with a large number of visitors enjoying their introduction to the clubhouse and course on a fine bright day.
A dozen new members signed up on the day, bringing the total since January to around the 40 mark.
The programme to further develop the 18-hole course is now in full swing, and work has started on the construction of new tees, greens and bunkers to increase its yardage and provide further challenge to players of all levels.
