RIDDLESDEN first team started the season with maximum points in the Bradford Central League.
A late flourish from Brookes, who rattled up 46, rescued a shaky batting performance and he was also on form with ball. He took four wickets for 43 runs as Wilsden struggled and collapsed to 129 all out.
The club's second team could not match the performance as they were dismissed for 88. Opener Tahir Mahmood top scored with 28.
Wilsden secured a nine wicket with with Joe McCool the only bowler enjoying any success as he picked up the one wicket to fall for 23 runs.
