Keighley CC launched their season with style, clocking up victories in the league and Heavy Woollen Cup.
On Saturday they faced the might of newly-relegated Brighouse in the Bradford League and dismissed them for 118.
The home side reached 49 without loss after 10 overs, but Richard Robinson and Aussie Joel Crouch applied the pressure and the batting attack could not cope with two spinners bowling in tandem. Robinson picked up six wickets for 26 runs and Crouch took 4-22.
Keighley lost two early wickets in their reply but Mark Beckett steadied the ship with 42 and Crouch added 28 as they secured a comfortable four-wicket win.
The Second XI secured a winning draw in a highs coring game against Eshsolt. They set a target of 247-9 with Nathan Barrett smashing 74 from 44 balls and Alan Broadley scored 78 as they plundered the bowling attack.
The Keighley bowlers restricted Esholt to 190-5 to collect four points.
The First XI knew they faced a tough task against top Huddersfield side Elland in the Heavy Woollen Cup, but chased a double century total to secure victory with nine balls to spare.
Former Yorkshire player Stuart Fletcher helped Elland to 201-5 in their 50 overs, but the enthusiastic Lawkholme side were not going to be denied. Lee Gordon scored 56 and Richard Robinson added 58. Crouch was 28 not out and Matthew Bottomley 15 not out as they secured victory by five wickets.
Keighley now play another Huddersfield side, Lessell Hall at Keighley on May 19.
The second string also enjoyed success in the Crowther Cup.
Richard Falkingham took 5-17 in an impressive 10-over spell as East Ardsley were dismissed for 107.
The Keighley outfit then cruised to victory with Nathan Barrett scoring 20, Allan Broadley 41 and Tom Bould 31 not out as they booked their place in the next round. The are to play Hanging Heaton away, also on May 9.
