Actress Jenny Agutter will be making tracks for Haworth on Sunday.
The star, famous for her role as Bobby in classic 1970 film The Railway Children, is the special guest at a sponsored walk and charity fun day in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Miss Agutter, who has a cousin with the disease, is due to start the Railway Children walk at Haworth Park at 10am and will officially open the fun day an hour later.
As part of the celebrations, the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway (K&WVR) is donating 50 free tickets for a raffle to help raise money for the trust.
With steam trains running throughout the Bank Holiday weekend, visitors will be able to see many of the locations from The Railway Children, which was filmed on the Worth Valley line.
K&WVR spokesman Roger France said: "The railway is irrevocably linked with The Railway Children."
