Married at Normanby Hall, North Lincolnshire, were Richard C Smith and Helen M Brooke.
Richard, a website design manager, is the eldest son of Mrs Jackie Smith, of Scunthorpe, and the late Graham Smith.
Helen - an account supervisor and a former student of South Craven School, Craven College and Newcastle Polytechnic - is the daughter of David and Dorothy Brooke, of Cross Hills.
The bride wore an A-line dress and train of ivory duchess satin, a bodice with gold butterfly embroidery and pearl buttons down the back, and a tiara.
She carried a shower bouquet of Akito roses, Singapore orchids and ivory freesias.
Younger bridesmaid Hannah Smith (bridegroom's daughter) wore a headband and an ivory satin dress with an embroidered bodice, and carried a basket of flowers. Bridesmaids Caroline Smith (bridegroom's sister) and Anita Brown wore amethyst A-line dresses and carried bouquets of Dakar roses, ivory and lilac freesias, and Singapore orchids.
Best man was John Laister.
