staff and pupils at Glusburn Primary School are over the moon after receiving two top awards.
The school recently received the prestigious Investors in People Award, which recognises the school's commitment to the development of staff.
Then, out of the blue they received a further School Achievement Award, which is given to less than a third of schools in Britain.
Following rigorous assessment, Investors in People inspectors concluded that the school had "a very strong team and supportive culture".
Head teacher Val Ashdown said: "I am very proud of the hard work that everyone has put in.
"It has made us face areas that have made us work more closely as a team.
"The School Achievement Award was quite unexpected really. It's a great recognition for staff."
The School Achievement Award is a Government award, set up to recognise improved standards of pupils and rewards the hard work of teachers.
