Actress Jenny Agutter will be making tracks for Haworth on Sunday.

She is the special guest at a sponsored Railway Children walk and charity fun day in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Miss Agutter - who has a cousin with the disease - is due to start the walk at Haworth Park at 10am and will officially open the fun day an hour later.

As part of the celebrations, the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway is donating 50 free tickets for use in a raffle to help raise money for the trust.

With steam trains running throughout the Bank Holiday weekend, visitors will be able to see many of the locations from the classic 1970 Railway Children movie, which was shot on the Worth Valley line and starred Miss Agutter.

K&WVR spokesman Roger France said: "The K&WVR is irrevocably linked with the Railway Children and we welcome this opportunity to support the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and its excellent fundraising work."
