SHOW: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
Adapted from the film musical, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers proved popular when it came to Bradford this week.
The show tells the tale of the Pontipee brothers and their quest for love.
Eldest brother Adam decides that it is time he had himself a wife, so he goes down to the town and successfully marries Milly.
Milly is shocked to discover the size of Adam's family, but resolves to find them all wives to settle down with.
She teaches the boys the etiquette of courting, but things do not go to plan.
The brothers kidnap their sweethearts and keep them captive in their ranch throughout the winter months.
Throughout we are kept wondering whether love will win through for Adam and Milly, and the brothers.
With simple yet very effective rotating scenery and some wonderfully energetic and perfectly co-ordinated dances by the brothers and suitors, this was a captivating show.
